Comments

This was the first RV park we ever stayed at back in 2012, so we wanted to check it out again now over a decade later. It is a very convenient location off of I-85, and it’s a relatively short drive to Auburn’s campus. (A drive to the campus is definitely worth it!) There are lots of restaurants near the campground.

We stayed in a spot along the creek both times, which is a pleasant location. Site H (where we stayed in 2024) had some nice shade trees too, so I spent a lot of time outside under the trees.

(Though I’m not very sensitive to it, please note that you can hear the noise from the interstate. There are also baseball fields right next to the park, so you may hear noise from that too, though we didn’t during our stay.)

The grounds were clean but the facilities are dated. The picnic tables were in pretty rough shape (dirty), so I was happy that I brought our camping chairs. The pool area was not officially open yet when we visited in April, but I did walk back to the pool area and was amazed at how nice it looked!
