Flamingo Lake RV Resort, Jacksonville, FL

This park’s visit began with a very pleasant phone call for same-day site availability. They allowed us to show early if needed and told us to not worry with a deposit – we were covered for our arrival. Very nice indeed.

The park was easily accessible from Interstate 295, the staff friendly, and the grounds clean. The price paid for the easy access off of the interstate is that you can clearly hear the interstate traffic during the night. But, it was nothing that a little white noise generator phone app didn’t take care of.

The facilities were clean but the dust on the interstate side of the lake, due to the gravel road and gravel camping sites on that side, made keeping outdoor items clean a challenge at times. Also that side can become quite water logged after a downpour.

Overall this park was really nice and large enough to enjoy walking around and taking in the sights in the park. They had live music on the Saturday night we were there making the stay even more festive.
