This park is so, so nice! Immaculate. Completely paved. (No mud, sand, dirt — yahoo!) 2 pools! A huge fenced-in dog area. An outdoor dog-wash area. A clubhouse, fitness center, etc., etc., etc. Plenty of climate-controlled restrooms (the private kind — where you have your own toilet, sink, and shower) and laundry rooms. Very friendly, helpful staff members! (I just had to look mildly confused and there was a worker asking me if I needed something. Little did they know, I always look mildly confused.)
This is definitely not a roughing-it park, and the price reflects that. (If you’re active or former military, there is a discount, but if not, you’re looking at at least $73.00 per night.) But if you’re feeling like splurging on some RV-time in total comfort, drive on in!
The location is convenient to shops and restaurants – most of what you would need or want within 6 miles. This includes Walmart, Target, Fresh Market, Dillards, Michaels, Bed Bath & Beyond, Ulta, and many more. I don’t know about you, but I *really* like having shops and eateries nearby even if I don’t need or go to them. (I think that’s the suburb-girl in me.)
And, of course, there’s the beach just a couple miles away! (Tip: Head to Rick Seltzer Park for a large, free parking area.)
If price was no issue, I would not hesitate at all in recommending this park! It may be the nicest, best-maintained and amenity-rich place I have stayed at yet!
