Impressions
This was just a quick overnight stay for us, so we didn’t have too much time to soak in the experience. But what we did experience was certainly fine for a night’s stay. Some sites appeared unleveled, but ours was fine. Also, if you want to access the cable TV, you need to ask the office for a cable box. We didn’t know that until after the office had closed for the day, so it would have been good if the office staff had advised us of this during check-in.
There aren’t many tourist destinations right there by the park, but your options open up greatly if you’re open to “an hour or so away” drives.
