Yes, but the road leading to the park has very low hanging branches.
Comments
This park is wonderfully convenient to touring the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum and Dugout Site! Just a few miles away – though they are miles you cannot really walk or bike, given the roads.
They take reservations in June, July, and August. The rest of the year is first come, first serve.
There is a significant seasonal area, and it appeared as though they had full hook-ups. My site was electric-only, which was fine since I was just staying a night.
The restrooms and showers were not the best. (In the bathhouse closest to me, they didn’t even have doors on the toilet stalls! – Rather, just shower curtains.) So I just used my own tiny, tiny camper van facilities and was quite happy.
This is a nice quiet park, and with its location on Lake Laura, you can spend some time swimming or fishing or walking the path around the lake.
You cannot however easily spend your time there online. They do offer wifi-for-a-fee ($5.00 a day), which I bought, but it was not a strong connection and basically not worth it.
