Comments

I have stayed here twice and appreciate that it is a full-hookup park with a convenient location off of I-77. But it’s not necessarily the kind of park (given it’s parking-lot-feel), at which I would want to spend days on end, unless you just need its location for touring the sites of Charlotte. In other words, it’s not the kind of park I would choose to “get away” to on its own merits.

That said, it has nice, rather clean and tidy bathhouses, which is a definite plus when I’m travelling in the campervan.

I also like that Publix is right next door, so just a short walk away to re-stock on provisions.

Something to note: You check-in at the Valero gas station, right outside of the campground. Sounds odd, but believe me, that’s what you do. The staff – both times I’ve stayed here – are friendly and helpful. The first time, I was escorted to my site; I quite like when a park does that.
