“Rainy days and Mondays always get me down.”
– The Carpenters
It’s not Monday, but it is raining. And I don’t know about you, but I have had quite enough of this soggy, soggy summer.
I hate to be a bore, complaining about the weather, but when your home is on wheels and less than 500 square feet, day after day of rain can really get to you.
I just took a slow stroll, umbrella in hand, around the park, and I loved seeing folks sitting outside (beneath their awnings) enjoying the outdoor space in spite of the rain. I had just assumed that everyone else was as miserable and cooped up as I was all day. But my fellow RV’ers are out there right now, as I type, sitting around their fire pits, enjoying the evening with family and friends. Good for them!
What do you do when the rain just won’t stop? Do you enter the weather-funk and stay inside? Or do you say, To heck with it. And head outdoors anyway?
